PAHEL CHAKMA
Hi!
I am Pahel Chakma. Currently I am studying B.A Honours in Department of English Language and Literature at National University, Bangladesh. Besides studies, I am working in volunteering organization of Volunteer for Bangladesh by JAAGO FOUNDATION and working as a upazila volunteer of Rangamati district at Wage Earner's Welfare Board, Rangamati Welfare Center by Ministry of Expatriates' and Overseas Employment. I am working for the welfare of the country, familly and society.I am an active, honest, responsible, self confidence, conscious, hard worker volunteer and social worker person. I want to improve my Leadership, Presentation, Communication skills and achive my goals by doing challenging work.
My interests are reading, singing, playing football, traveling, browsing the internet etc.
As a volunteer with 2 year of experience in the field, I have dedicated my career to making a positive impact in the community. My expertise lies in the areas of Fundraising and Grants Management, Education, Advocacy, Humanitarian Aid, Chrity, Health, Nutrition, Population, Waste Management, Gender, Livehood, Climate Change and Child Rights.
Currently, I am a volunteer of Volunteer for Bangladesh at JAAGO FOUNDATION and Upazila volunteer of Rangamati district at Wage Earner Welfare Board. My academic background includes advance degree offered by National University in English Language and Literature.
In addition to my professional expertise, I am also an active listener, a strategic communicator and skilled facilitator. My networking and partnership development skills have been crucial in building successful relationship with a wide range of stakeholders.
My dedication to professional growth extends beyond my work, as i always seek opportunities to learn and grow. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and sketching, which i find to be great ways to unwind and stay creative.
LEADERSHIP
Why leadership is important?
Leadership help me to provide guidance, inspiration, and motivation when achieving my goals.When you work in a leadership position, you must be able to clearly explain everything from expectations to goals and tasks. It is also important to establish open communication between yourself and your team members. Not only does creating an environment of open communication promote cohesiveness as a team, but it often encourages an atmosphere of transparency. Excellent communication considers not only what is being communicated, but how it is being communicated.
Volounteer Activities
Working as a Volunteer of Volunteer for Bangladesh, Rangamati District.
"Volunteer for Bangladesh" is a youth wing of JAAGO Foundation, established in 2011 with support of U.S Embassy to Bangladesh. Its goal is to empower young people in Bangladesh to volunteer and develop leadership skills to make positive change in their communities. It provides platform for community service, volunteer work, training, and mentorship opportunities.
AS A TEAM LEADER
Team Leaders offer guidance to all members of the team to ensure they are fulfilling their roles. Guidance can include training and instructing team members and taking corrective or even punitive actions when necessary. Guidance also involves responding to questions and resolving problems that can hinder job performance.
For example, an employee conflict may negatively impact productivity. A leader intercedes and finds a solution, such as reassigning a worker to a different division.When new direction is given by business ownership, team leaders make sure that team members understand the information and how it impacts their specific roles.
